Instructions for use of Nylon Kinesiology Tape

Nylon kinesiology tape is commonly used for muscle support, joint stability, pain relief, and improving circulation.

Here’s how to use it properly:

  • Prepare the Skin: Clean the area: Make sure the skin is clean, dry, and free of oils, lotions, or sweat. This helps the tape adhere better.
  • Shave hair (if necessary): If the area has a lot of body hair, it might help to trim or shave the hair to improve tape adhesion and comfort.

Measure and Cut the Tape

  • Choose the correct length: Measure the length of tape you will need for the application. Most applications will require strips of 5-10 inches, but it will vary depending on the area you are taping.

Apply the Tape
