Instructions for use of Non-woven Wound Dressing

1. Preparation

• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or use hand sanitizer.
• Clean the wound with a sterile saline solution or antiseptic as recommended by a healthcare professional.
• Pat the wound dry with a sterile gauze pad or allow it to air dry.

2. Application

• Open the sterile packaging carefully without touching the inside surface of the dressing.
• If the dressing has an adhesive border, peel off the backing paper.
• Place the dressing over the wound, ensuring that the absorbent pad covers the entire wound area.
• Smooth down the edges to secure it in place.

3. Securing the Dressing

• If the dressing is non-adhesive, use medical tape or a bandage to keep it in place.
• Ensure the dressing is firmly attached but not too tight to restrict circulation.

4. Changing the Dressing

• Change the dressing as directed by a healthcare provider or when it becomes wet, soiled, or loose.
• Carefully remove the old dressing without pulling at the wound.
• Dispose of the used dressing in a sanitary manner.

5. Precautions
